In-Home Postpartum Care in Lincoln & Omaha, Nebraska

A steady, nourishing presence in your early postpartum weeks.

If you are looking for nourishing food, grounded in-home support, and steady care during the postpartum season, I am here to support you. I provide in-home postpartum doula care in Lincoln, Omaha, and surrounding Southeast Nebraska communities.

What My Postpartum Doula Support Looks Like

Support may begin with a warm cup of nettle tea shared together as we settle in and connect. From there, care unfolds based on your needs in that moment—whether that is nourishing food prepared in your kitchen and served warm while you rest in bed, gentle bodywork or herbal baths to support recovery, or space for emotional processing and grounding support. Each visit is guided by what will best support your healing, rest, and sense of being held

What’s Included With In-Home Postpartum Care

My in-home postpartum doula care is designed to support recovery, nourishment, and rest during the fourth trimester in Lincoln and Omaha families.

  • Herbal baths, sitz baths, and grounding rituals

  • Warm oil bodywork and gentle abdominal care

  • Emotional support and reflective conversation

  • Nervous system regulation practices

  • Support for rest, recovery, and postpartum rhythms

  • Light household support to ease daily load

How Postpartum Doula Visits Work

Care begins with a simple connection call where we talk through your needs, timing, and what kind of support feels right for your postpartum season. From there, a care plan is created to reflect your rhythms and level of support.

During in-home visits, I arrive with nourishing tea and begin with a check-in to understand how you are feeling physically, emotionally, and energetically. This helps guide the flow of care for that day.

Support may include preparing warm meals in your kitchen, offering herbal baths or gentle bodywork, and creating space for rest, feeding, or emotional support. Each visit is shaped by what will best support your recovery in that moment.

Nourishment is guided by a curated postpartum menu, which is shared ahead of each visit. You choose meals based on what your body is experiencing - such as fatigue, tissue repair, digestion, elimination, breastfeeding support, or sleep challenges - so the food can directly meet your healing needs.

Care is offered in flexible packages of 3, 6, or 9 in-home visits, depending on the level of support you are looking for.

“Since going back to work, I’ve been prioritizing nourishing my body with your recipes and it’s been a game changer! You’ve set me up for success far beyond just the immediate weeks of postpartum. It has carried with me this far and I’m taking everything you’ve taught me to continue nourishing (physically and emotionally) my ever changing body and life transitions. Thank you Skylar.”
